Getting Balinese Personal Services
May 8, 2008 – 3:41 amAs the main tourists destination in the world, Bali has become a major tourism industry in Indonesia. Everything seems to be organized and sometimes ‘forced’ by the local government in order to meet the world class of tourism standard. Everything from accommodation industry, restaurants, bars, places of interests, tourism transportation, tour organizers, to name a few. Well, it is good to see everything is organized in Bali and most of the services above are handled by major hotels/companies but sometimes it has also resulted in a not so cool experience from the visitor’s point of view. Frankly speaking, those services are lack of personal touch of Balinese people. They just do their job based on their employee’s handbook.
What will happen if they just serve you based on the employee’s handbook? Well for sure there are many rules and policies. You will miss many things. Things that you will not find from your five stars hotel driver. Things that you will never heard from the receptionist of your five stars hotel. In this case, all you need is find yourself Balinese personal services. It is not easy though to find one, but once you found it, your holiday will be unforgettable.
Some examples of Balinese personal services are independent Balinese drivers, independents Balinese tour organizers and also independent Balinese therapists. I have some friends from Holland. Every time they come to Bali, they always wanted to be guided with a self employed Balinese driver. They even make friends now. So unless you are a mega star from Hollywood who need bodyguards and an isolated place to stay, I recommended you to get those Balinese personal services and your holiday will be memorable.
