Balinese Traditional Markets

When you are in Bali, traditional market is a must place to visit. Not only because it’s unique environment but it is a place where you can explore Balinese style of bargaining. Unlike supermarket, everything in traditional market has no fixed price. Try to bargain at least 30% lower than mentioned price by the vendors. Here are two main traditional markets in Bali:

1. Pasar Kumbasari: known also as Pasar Badung. It is the biggest traditional market in Bali which is open almost 24/7. It is located in the heart of Denpasar city, to be exact in Jalan Gajah Mada Denpasar. You can find almost anything here in this market including Balinese crafts, painting, clothings, foods and many many more.
